Paratici ‘lining up Postecoglou replacement at Tottenham’ as new image emerges
Fabio Paratici is thought to already be helping Daniel Levy to secure Ange Postecoglou’s replacement at Tottenham.
After a recent statement, it appears as though Levy will sack Postecoglou if Spurs fail to win the UEFA Europa League.
Therefore, the pressure is on ahead of the trip to Germany on Thursday (17 April) after Spurs drew 1-1 with Eintracht Frankfurt in the first leg of the two clubs’ last-eight tie at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Thursday (10 April).
Postecoglou needs a result at Deutsche Bank Park. Therefore, the Australian will be boosted by James Maddison and Dominic Solanke’s confidence ahead of the clash.
However, considering Spurs’ away form in Europe this season and a concern raised ahead of the trip to Frankfurt, it appears Postecoglou’s days might be numbered, and an image emerging from the draw on Thursday suggests Paratici could already be lining up a new manager at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Paratici spotted at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
After talks with AC Milan broke down, ex-Spurs scout Bryan King believes Paratici wants to return to Tottenham.
Paratici was forced to resign from his position as Managing Director of Football at Tottenham in April 2023 after he was banned from working in football for 30 months for his role in alleged false accounting at his former club, Juventus.
However, the 52-year-old has been allowed to continue working in the football industry as a consultant and adviser, thanks to a successful appeal of the extent of his ban. As a result, Paratici has continued to assist Tottenham behind the scenes and might already be helping Levy secure Postecoglou’s replacement.
Club | Role | Dates |
Sampdoria | Chief Scout | July 20024-June 2010 |
Juventus | Sporting Director | July 2010-May 2021 |
Tottenham | Sporting Director | July 2021-April 2023 |
In an image posted to X by onlyonepk (10 April), Paratici could be seen in attendance for Spurs’ draw with Frankfurt, sat in a box with a few Tottenham legends.
Therefore, Lilywhite Rose owner John Wenham – speaking exclusively to Tottenham News – believes the Italian might already be working to secure Postecoglou’s replacement.
“If Postecoglou is sacked, I’m not sure who will come in until the end of the season,” Wenham said.
“We will have to wait and see. However, we saw that Paratici was at the stadium again on Thursday, sitting with the club legends.
“Therefore, it looks like he is coming back, and perhaps he is already lining up a new manager to replace Postecoglou.”

Paratici could prove useful to Tottenham in manager hunt
As one of the more high-profile directors in the game, it has been suggested that Paratici could help Tottenham arrange a meeting with Xavi, demonstrating the level of manager he might be able to attract.
Therefore, if Postecoglou is sacked, it will certainly be a big boost for Levy to have Paratici’s help.
