Mikey Moore ‘to seal brilliant Tottenham exit’ – Exclusive
Mikey Moore’s future will come into question at Tottenham this summer.
Tottenham face somewhat of a Catch-22 situation this summer, and it will be crucial that they don’t make an error in judgment.
With a UEFA Champions League campaign ahead, Spurs will need sufficient depth to cope with the demands of four competitions next season, while also ensuring that players are happy with the game time they receive.
Recruitment is going to play a telling role in whether or not the Lilywhites can achieve that, though deciding the future of those currently at North London will be just as important.

Championship exit could be on the cards for Moore
It was a strange season for Moore last time out, who, despite impressing when playing, was handed very few opportunities to stake a claim for his place in the lineup, despite Spurs’ struggles domestically.
With incomings expected, that game time is likely to become even more limited next season, and Paul Robinson thinks a loan to the Championship would be the best outcome for him.
Speaking to Tottenham News, he said: “Tottenham are going to need a big squad next year because they’re competing in the Champions League and three competitions domestically, so it depends on their recruitment in the summer.
2024/25 | Appearances | Goals | Assists | Minutes |
Moore | 22 | 3 | 4 | 1.029′ |
“I think for him personally, a season on loan in the Championship, at the top end of the Championship, would be brilliant.
“We’ve seen how it’s benefited other players. I think for his own personal development, for where he is now in his career, rather than training with the first team every week and being part of a squad and maybe coming off the bench for five or 10 minutes every now and then.
“The ability to go and be that regular starter who plays every week in the starting 11 in the Championship in a league which is furiously competitive, tough league and where it matters.”

Moore’s future up in the air after Postecoglou sacking
Now that Postecoglou has been sacked by Tottenham, the futures of a lot of players will be up in the air.
Therefore, all Moore and his teammates can do is wait to see who replaces Postecoglou, and who that person decides they want in their squad.
