Mikey Moore injury concern emerges after Tottenham development
Mikey Moore looks as though he might have suffered a fresh injury setback at Tottenham.
Ange Postecoglou’s side have struggled this season due to a severe injury crisis in North London.
As a result of this crisis, several young Spurs players, including 17-year-old Moore, have been afforded plenty of first-team opportunities.
The young forward has burst onto the scene this term and looks to have a bright future ahead of him. However, even Moore hasn’t been safe from the sidelines, missing a big chunk of the 2024/25 campaign due to illness.
And it looks like the England youth international has suffered a fresh setback after a recent development.

Moore misses out for Tottenham v Manchester City
Moore missed out on the matchday squad as Spurs were beaten 1-0 in the Premier League by Manchester City at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Wednesday (26 February).
With players beginning to return from injury, it appears as though Moore’s minutes could become limited.
However, Lilywhite Rose owner John Wenham – speaking exclusively to Tottenham News – believes the reason the teenager was left out against Pep Guardiola’s side was because he suffered an injury setback of his own.
“I don’t think Moore will be feeling any type of way about being left out,” Wenham said.
“He might have suffered a small knock because you’ve got to remember before the game against City, Moore had started four out of five.

Mikey Moore | 18 | 2 | 4 |
“Therefore, it would be unusual if he was suddenly left out of the squad, and he hadn’t suffered an injury of some sort. As a result, I wouldn’t be surprised if he has suffered a small knock.
“However, I expect to see him return to the squad against AZ Alkmaar, because Timo Werner is of course now ineligible in the UEFA Europa League.”

Moore can make an impact for Tottenham in the Europa League
Spurs’ full focus will be on the Europa League.
Therefore, Moore will hope to feature in the competition and will be keen to make an impact when he is handed the opportunity to play.
Tottenham are desperate for a trophy. Therefore, if Moore can contribute to the North London club winning the Europa League in his first full season as a senior player, he would become an instant Spurs legend.
