Clubs around Europe have expressed an interest in Micky van de Ven ahead of the summer transfer window, Tottenham News understands.

Spurs sealed a £43million deal to sign van de Ven from Bundesliga outfit Wolfsburg last summer (via Sky Sports News, 8 August).

The 23-year-old has quickly established himself as one of the first names on the team sheet in North London.

He enjoyed an impressive debut season under Ange Postecoglou, helping Spurs finish fifth in the Premier League.

The Dutchman’s fine displays saw him complete a clean sweep of Spurs’ Player of the Season awards (Tottenham Hotspur Official Website, 11 May).

And it appears that his form has not gone unnoticed around Europe.
