Leeds United tipped to sign Manor Solomon in £10million Tottenham deal
Tottenham forward Manor Solomon could make his stay with Leeds United permanent.
Solomon has impressed for the Whites in recent weeks, scoring one goal and providing two assists in a 4-0 Championship victory over Oxford United at Elland Road before Christmas (21 December).
Therefore, while some Spurs players are expected to return to the club after struggling on loan this season, it doesn’t look as though Solomon will be going anywhere anytime soon.
In fact, Lilywhite Rose owner John Wenham – speaking exclusively to Tottenham News – has suggested that the 24-year-old might not return to North London at all.
“Leeds fans seem to love him,” Wenham said.
“He has been contributing in recent games and I’m hoping that he goes down the Joe Rodon route, and Tottenham bank £10million for him at the end of the season.
“I don’t see him having a real long-term future in North London, certainly not if Postecoglou is still at the club. Therefore, hopefully, Solomon continues to do well and Leeds buy him for £10million if they come back up.”
Leeds United to sign Tottenham forward Manor Solomon for £10million?
Spurs will be glad to see Solomon’s loan spell going well, especially as not all their players out on loan are making quite the same impact away from the club.
However, if Daniel Levy has any hopes of Leeds signing Solomon, he will hope to see the forward play more regularly throughout the second half of the season.
Although Solomon has contributed, he isn’t necessarily the first name on the team sheet at Elland Road.

Therefore, if Spurs want to move him on permanently in the summer, and convince Leeds to spend a fee of £10m, they will need to see more from the winger in the second half of the season.
In other Tottenham news, the club have been told to ban one player after an overnight social media post.
