‘I expect Antonee Robinson to clear any pre-transfer medical’ amid Tottenham news
Tottenham are reportedly keen on securing the services of Fulham left-back Antonee Robinson this summer.
The 27-year-old has been at Craven Cottage since 2020 and has become a mainstay for them.
Thomas Frank is eyeing reinforcements this summer and the United States international has emerged as a potential option.

This article includes exclusive opinion from injury expert Dr Rajpal Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist.
Robinson appears to have recovered from his knee surgery
According to Paul O’Keefe, speaking on The Inside Foreword on 2 July, Tottenham want to bring Robinson to North London this summer, but are yet to make a move to sign him.
Former Lilywhites scout Bryan King believes it could take £50million for them to secure the 27-year-old’s services.
Spurs could take a look at the surgery he underwent on his right knee at the end of the 2024/25 season, according to Dr Brar.
This led to him missing the Gold Cup matches in the off-season, but he has now returned to pre-season training.
Player | Appearances | Goals | Assists |

Discussing Robinson’s current fitness situation, Dr Brar told Tottenham News: “Spurs may take a closer look at his surgery from the off-season to assess the full extent of the healing and if there’s anything outside normal variance or the club’s risk tolerance.
“It was a minor injury but enough to keep him out of the international games.
“However, now that he’s back in training, I expect him to clear any pre-transfer medical.“

Tottenham unlikely to spend big money on Robinson
Tottenham are unlikely to spend £50miilon on a new left-back, as the position isn’t a pressing concern.
With Destiny Udogie established as a dynamic, reliable starter and Ben Davies providing solid backup, the squad’s left-back depth is sufficient for Thomas Frank’s system.
Instead, Spurs’ transfer priorities lie in bolstering other areas of the pitch to enhance defensive solidity and creativity, critical for a Champions League push and domestic trophy contention in 2025/26.
Investing heavily in a non-priority position like left-back would divert funds from addressing more urgent needs, making such a move impractical.
