Frank told to sign Henry in deal that’d end player’s Tottenham career – Exclusive
Thomas Frank could be joined by Rico Henry at Tottenham this summer.
The Dane has been appointed as Spurs’ head coach and will be keen to put his own stamp on the squad, ready for the new campaign.
This could see the former Brentford coach look at his ex-employers for options after years of success at the Gtech Community Stadium.
Now, Henry could emerge as a target for the Lilywhites if Daniel Levy is willing to back the new manager throughout the transfer window.

Frank wants Brentford ace Henry at Tottenham
There is no shortage of excellent options available if the 51-year-old were to return to the Bees with his chequebook out this summer.
Links to Bryan Mbeumo have already emerged at Tottenham, and a battle with Manchester United looks set to kickstart across the coming months.
With that in mind, Spurs could also go back in and make an approach for Henry to help bolster their defensive options.
Former Brentford manager Martin Allen has named the 27-year-old as an excellent option for Tottenham as competition for Destiny Udogie in N17.
“Brentford have got a lot of good players and internationals,” Allen told Tottenham News.
“I really like their left-back Rico Henry, he’s a fantastic player.
“He had a cruciate knee ligament injury, but I’m sure he’s going to be fit for the upcoming season.
“Henry is the one that I’d really be looking at. The left-back at Tottenham, Udogie, is good going forward, but defensively is nowhere near it.
“So I’m sure they’ll be looking to bring in a decent left-back, and there he is sitting at Brentford. Maybe he’s the type to toughen up Tottenham as a team.“

Henry could replace Udogie at Tottenham
It does feel as if left-back options are needed in North London, especially after the departure of Ben Davies and Sergio Reguilon at the end of their contracts.
This could see a recognised ace in that position make much better sense, and Henry could represent a positive option.

If Levy and Co. can represent a cut-price fee, due to the Englishman’s injury worries, it could prove to be a risk worth taking this summer.
It would be interesting to see what that would mean for the future of Udogie and Djed Spence at Tottenham in the window, but depth under Frank is going to be important regardless.
And if talented defender Henry does arrive, it may well be that Udogie heads for the exit.
