Fabio Paratici ‘wants to join Tottenham’ as AC Milan bombshell emerges

Daniel Levy appears to have been handed a perfect opportunity to bring Fabio Paratici back to Tottenham after an AC Milan bombshell.

After Paratici was banned from working in football for 30 months for his role in alleged false accounting at his former club, Juventus, the Italian was forced to resign from his position as Managing Director of Football at Tottenham in April 2023.

However, the 52-year-old has been allowed to continue working in the football industry as a consultant and adviser, thanks to a successful appeal of the extent of his ban.

As a result, Paratici has continued to assist Tottenham behind the scenes and could now make a stunning return to the North London club in an official capacity when his ban is lifted in July.

Paratici wants Tottenham return after AC Milan twist

As the clock ticks down on his 30-month ban, Levy was expected to make a big-money offer to Paratici to bring him back to Tottenham.

Following this, it emerged that Levy had held a meeting with Paratici, as Tottenham “forcefully entered the race” for the sporting director’s signature [Radio Rossonera].

However, as reported by The Telegraph on Friday (28 March), these suggestions were wide of the mark, and Tottenham had not yet held talks with Paratici.

As a result, this allowed AC Milan to swoop in, as Paratici verbally agreed to join the Italian club, seemingly ending any chance of a return to Tottenham.

However, in the latest twist in this saga, Gianluca Di Marzio reported via X on Friday (4 April) that talks between Paratici and AC Milan have stalled.

And ex-Spurs scout Bryan King – speaking exclusively to Tottenham News – believes Paratici wants to return to Tottenham.

“Tottenham should make him an offer that will stop him from thinking about AC Milan,” King said.

“I don’t think Spurs’ offer or interest is that favourable, not like the way it has been reported. If Levy wants him, Spurs will go out and make an offer. However, that seems to have stalled in some shape and form, which allowed AC Milan to move in.

“He is itallian, that would be a very good job for him. However, I imagine he would like to go back to Tottenham. Where are the people making these decisions? Why isn’t there something in place to entice him to come?”

Levy has the perfect chance to bring Paratici back to Tottenham

If Levy does want Paratici back at Tottenham, there are no excuses not to agree a deal now.

Talks with AC Milan appear to have hit a roadblock. Therefore, now is the time for Spurs to swoop in and capitalise.
