Exclusive: Tottenham want to sign Luka Stojković as ‘major’ transfer claim emerges

Spurs want to sign Dinamo Zagreb forward Luka Stojković, Tottenham News understands.

With Luka Vušković shining in Belgium and set to arrive at Spurs in the summer, the North London club are keen to add fellow Croatian Stojković to their ranks.

Spurs’ interest in Stojković was first revealed exclusively by Tottenham News in March 2024, and it appears as though the club haven’t given up on their pursuit of the forward.

Stojković has played 26 times in all competitions this season for Dinamo Zagreb, scoring four goals and providing three assists while operating primarily as an attacking midfielder and out wide.

And Tottenham News understands that several clubs are keeping tabs on the 21-year-old ahead of the summer transfer window as a “major” claim is shared.

Spurs keen to sign Stojković amid ‘major’ claim

It seems that Ange Postecoglou’s side would have their work cut out for them to win the race for Stojković’s signature.

A recruitment source with close links to Spurs and the Croatian market has exclusively revealed to Tottenham News that Atletico Madrid, Napoli and Inter Milan are also interested in signing the Croatian youth international.

Tottenham News understands that Stojković is seen as a “major talent” among scouting circles.

However, with several clubs keeping tabs, and a lot of uncertainty surrounding who will be in charge at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium next season, it remains to be seen if Spurs can win the race for Stojković.

Tottenham will need to convince Stojković to join the club

Spurs have shown their desire to sign talented young players in recent years, bringing in the likes of Lucas Bergvall, Archie Gray and Vušković.

However, after a dismal season, and with Postecoglou facing the sack, a move to North London could be a much harder sell this summer.

Therefore, Spurs will need to finish the season strong and make an incredible pitch to convince Stojković to join the club ahead of some of the other sides interested in his signature.
