Exclusive: Tottenham stars accused of shockingly disobeying Postecoglou’s coaches
Ange Postecoglou has lost a host of Tottenham players to injury this season, and it appears as though the players might be to blame.
Postecoglou could be sacked by Daniel Levy as a result of Spurs’ struggles this season.
The second leg of the UEFA Europa League last-16 tie against AZ Alkmaar at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Thursday (13 March) feels as though it could be a make or break match for Postecoglou.
However, should the Australian be relieved of his duties, he will no doubt feel slightly hard done by, as it is hard to ignore that constant injury setbacks have played a part in a difficult season for Tottenham.
It is difficult to blame Postecoglou for these injury issues, and it appears as though it might actually be the players at fault after yet another injury concern at Hotspur Way.

Kevin Danso suffers fresh injury at Tottenham
As reported by reliable Spurs insider Paul O’Keefe via X (12 March), Kevin Danso has suffered a suspected hamstring injury.
Luckily for Postecoglou, Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven are both available again. However, it is still concerning that yet another player has pulled up with a hamstring injury.
And ex-Spurs scout Bryan King – speaking exclusively to Tottenham News – has suggested why he feels this might be happening.
“What is the warm-up coach doing with the players,” King said.
“Is he warming them up right or not? It is very questionable with the amount of injuries we’ve seen. However, players need to take more responsibility for the way they warm themselves up. I’ve watched these warm-up sessions before games, some of the players do everything right and some don’t.

“I don’t understand why they are even talking to each other while warming up, they should be concentrating on what they’re doing. Some of these players take liberties, they do not do what they’re being asked to do. They just go through the motions. Surely the coaches need to work together and watch players to make sure they’re warming up properly.
“Something isn’t right there, that is for sure, but I’d definitely put it down to the stretching and warming up of the players. I’d imagine there are a few people at Spurs responsible for this, so why aren’t they having words?
“When they’re warming up, not everyone is on the same page. You see it at Tottenham and at other clubs. Six or seven of the players are doing it seriously, but some of them are messing about. If they were smart, they would film the warm up and analyse what the players are actually doing.”
Tottenham need to take a closer look at their medical team
If Spurs’ players are taking liberties in warm-ups, while this is of course mostly on the players themselves, it should also be asked why this is being allowed to happen?
Romero recently aimed a subtle dig at Spurs’ medical staff. Therefore, perhaps there is more than meets the eye when it comes to this injury crisis.
