Exclusive: Son Heung-min ‘could join top Championship club’ in shock Tottenham exit
Tottenham captain Son Heung-min could be set for a summer exit after a difficult season.
The South Korea international has been nowhere near his usual standard in North London this campaign, matching the form of Spurs in general.
Ange Postecoglou’s side are seriously struggling in the Premier League and all their eggs appear to be in the Europa League basket for the rest of the year.
Once the season comes to an end, it could prove to be the final curtain for Son as talks look set to kick off over a potential exit from N17.

Son could leave Tottenham for a Championship side
Alongside Harry Kane, the 32-year-old was electric and helped contribute to one of the best Lilywhites sides in recent memory.
With the England international now at Bayern Munich, Son has failed to step up and become the talisman in North London, scoring just seven Premier League goals this season.
As a result, a move away from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium could make sense for all parties in the upcoming transfer window.
Former Brentford boss Martin Allen has suggested that work will be starting now to make a transfer possible with a newly promoted side a potential destination.
Speaking exclusively to Tottenham News, Allen said: “He’s been a fantastic player for them over the years. In all honesty, it looks like the pace he once had is on the way out, it’s nowhere near where it once was.
“It’s going to be difficult to get him a place in the team where he’s going to play games and score goals.
“It wouldn’t be a surprise to me if Spurs start to work out how they can move him on.
“Where would he go? One of the clubs coming up from the Championship would take him like a shot because he has still got something in him.“

Son destined for Tottenham exit
Unfortunately for Son, it does appear that his time in North London is up.
The likes of Brennan Johnson and Wilson Odobert represent positive options for the future who are in need of regular minutes.
If Spurs can find a club who are willing to take the South Korean, whether that be the likes of Leeds United who look set for promotion, it could suit all parties.
Stat (Premier League 24/25) | Son Heung-min |

After a struggling season in the Premier League, it could be a chance for a clean break and a fresh start for the forward and the Lilywhites.
It will certainly be interesting to see where Son lands if he is to move on and whether he can return to the heights of years gone by.
