Deal to be done on Tottenham Hotspur Stadium after new announcement – Expert
Dan Plumley has insisted that there is still a naming rights deal to be done on the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, despite the exit of Todd Kline this week.
The Daily Mail shared the news of the impending move to Chelsea for the ex-Spurs commercial officer, with insiders admitting not many will lose sleep over the news.
The football finance expert admitted there is still value to be gained from a naming rights deal, suggesting the mood was not quite right given the exit of Kline from out of nowhere.
“I still think there’s a deal to be done on that stadium for the naming rights,” he exclusively told Tottenham News.
“That was his remit to go out and get that and ultimately that’s not happened yet.
“He’s now moving on and it probably suggests that the mood is not quite right and the relationship is not there in the long term.
“Lift it away from football and that’s business, isn’t it? So that happens from time to time, there have been companies that have been touted as being there as potential naming rights partners for that stadium, but it’s not happened yet for whatever reason and that person is now moving on.
“I still think there is a deal there to be for Spurs moving forward and I think that’s why they’re probably putting this message there that this has not worked out like they expected it to, but they move on and there is still value there to be gained from that deal.”

New Tottenham Deal
Daniel Levy will likely leave no stone unturned looking to secure a lucrative deal, with his running of the club recently described as incredible.
With a new Michael Jordan collaboration on the cards, on top of the already £30million-a-year deal with Nike, the naming rights deal could add on yet more income for the club.
This is one to keep an eye on after the exit of Kline.
In other Tottenham news, a 90 per cent Spurs ace has been described as “one of the best” by another player at the club.
