Daniel Levy ‘motivations clear’ amid new Tottenham investment
Daniel Levy has been a controversial figure at Tottenham in recent years.
The 63-year-old has been slammed for a lack of investment, and that was particularly relevant last season under Ange Postecoglou despite the Europa League win.
However, Levy seems to be trying to change that perception as Spurs have already signed Mohammed Kudus from West Ham for £55million.
They are also trying to poach Morgan Gibbs-White from Nottingham Forest but the £60m deal is uncertain after the fury that the approach caused.

Tottenham investment is not a surprise

Iconic commentator Ian Darke believes that it is not a surprise that Levy and Co. have chosen to invest now.
Speaking exclusively to Tottenham News, he said: “Last season was a calamity for them, to finish one place above the bottom three.
“By the backdoor, they are in the Champions League, so now is the time to spend, that is exactly why they are doing it, I think.
“Plus, it is quite a successful model, because the stadium is a big success, they earn a lot of money from outside sources, and by having such a fantastic stadium with concerts and American Football going on there, it is a bit of a moneymaker.
“They want Tottenham to be regarded as a top-of-the-range kind of club.”

Levy needs to continue Tottenham investment
Whether it is from Levy and the rest of the owners or from an outside source, the spending cannot stop until all areas of the squad are addressed.
New manager Thomas Frank still needs several new additions in order for his side to be competitive amongst Europe’s best.
The Lilywhites still need another attacking addition with the doubts over Son Heung-min’s future and potentially a new left-back as backup to Destiny Udogie at the very least, if they are to thrive this season.
They must get it right this summer, or it could be another dismal campaign in the top-flight if the correct moves are not sanctioned.
