Bayern Munich join Tottenham in Stojković hunt after ‘major news’ – Exclusive
Bayern Munich are set to compete with Spurs for Dinamo Zagreb forward Luka Stojković’s signature, Tottenham News understands.
Tottenham and Bayern have held a positive transfer relationship in recent years.
Harry Kane left Spurs in 2023 to sign for the German giants, with the striker recently opening up about what has changed for him since quitting Tottenham.
In addition, Eric Dier also swapped North London for Bavaria in January 2024. However, it hasn’t all been one-way traffic.
Mathys Tel recently made the move the other way in the winter transfer window. However, life in England likely hasn’t been what the 19-year-old would have expected thus far after his recent interaction with some furious Tottenham supporters.
Spurs have also been advised to take advantage of the two clubs’ positive relationship and make a move for Joshua Kimmich. However, it looks as though the two clubs are now set to compete for the same player, rather than do business with each other, after a “major” Stojković claim.

Tottenham and Bayern want to sign Stojković
As exclusively revealed by Tottenham News, Ange Postecoglou’s side are interested in signing Stojković.
Atletico Madrid, Napoli and Inter Milan are all also interested in the 21-year-old’s signature, with Bayern Munich now joining the race for a player described as a “major talent” in scouting circles.
Career | Appearances | Goals | Assists |
Luka Stojković | 104 | 14 | 14 |
Stojković has played 26 times in all competitions this season for Dinamo Zagreb, scoring four goals and providing three assists while operating primarily as an attacking midfielder and out wide.

Tottenham could struggle to sign Stojković ahead of Bayern
Spurs are an absolute mess right now, with Postecoglou on the verge of the sack.
Therefore, it would have already been difficult enough to compete with Atletico, Napoli and Inter for Stojković’s signature. However, now that Bayern are in the mix, it might be curtains for Spurs’ pursuit of the Croatian.
Most of those clubs are much more attractive propositions than Tottenham at the moment, in particular, Bayern, who could pretty much offer the youngster guaranteed silverware, something which Spurs are unable to do.
