Ange Postecoglou ‘to walk away from Tottenham’ – Exclusive
Ange Postecoglou could walk from Tottenham before he is sacked, regardless of what happens in the Europa League.
Until Tottenham’s Europa League run comes to an end, the future of Postecoglou will remain up in the air in North London after what has been an embarrassing campaign.
For months now, fans have been waiting for Postecoglou to get sacked, yet Daniel Levy has refrained from doing so, and the reason appears evident.
Tottenham want to win trophies, and Postecoglou could very well achieve that via the Europa League, though that could still end up being his last action as Spurs boss.

Tottenham will likely be in the hunt for a new manager this summer
It had been stated that Postecoglou could be sacked even if he wins the Europa League this season, though it seems nailed on that he will be axed if they fail to do so.
However, Paul Robinson claims he would understand if the Australian opted to walk out the door before he is pushed out of it.
Speaking to Tottenham News, Robinson said: “It’s a difficult one. I think if you look at the league season alone, 18 defeats in the Premier League, it’s unacceptable. You can understand that it’s excuses for injuries and stuff, but that was only a small part of the season.
Tottenham | Games | W | D | L | GD |
Postecoglou | 70 | 31 | 10 | 30 | +23 |
“But what was the remit at the start of the season? Win trophies and get Champions League football, and he could do it through the back door. I’m sitting on the fence with it. If they sacked him, I could understand why they sacked him. The fans have become very disjointed.
“I could understand if he walked away, but if he wins the Europa League and provides Champions League football, does he maybe deserve an opportunity to take them to the next season? It’ll be a very, very split camp. I’m still undecided.“

Tottenham have no excuses left in Europa League hunt
There is no way to beat around the bush, Tottenham simply need to win the Europa League this season.
Not only would a failure to do that impact the season as a whole, but it would have some drastic knock-on effects on their finances and future recruitment plans.
If Postecoglou wants to have even a drop of hope left at Spurs, there are no excuses to be made.
