Ange Postecoglou to hand Tyrese Hall his Tottenham first-team debut v Sheffield United
John Wenham believes Tyrese Hall will make his debut for Tottenham against Sheffield United.
The owner of the reputable Spurs podcast Lilywhite Rose claims that the 18-year-old could play a part when Ange Postecoglou’s side travel to Bramall Lane for the final Premier League game of the season on Sunday (19 May).
Hall was named in a Premier League matchday squad for the first time when he featured on the bench during the 2-0 defeat to Manchester City (14 May).
And Wenham – speaking exclusively to Tottenham News – believes the teen sensation will play a bigger part this weekend.
“I expect us not just to win against Sheffield United, but to win comfortably,” Wenham said.
“That would see us finish fifth which I think would represent a good season all things considered.
“Some might argue that we should have finished in the top four, but I think we have made progress this season and there are plenty of promising signs.
“Hall was on the bench against Manchester City, and I expect him to feature and perhaps be handed some minutes at Bramall Lane.”
Tyrese Hall could become a star at Tottenham under Ange Postecoglou
Hall has come on leaps and bounds this season.
After starting the campaign with the Under-18s, he has begun to feature more prominently for the Under-21s in recent weeks.

His talent is undeniable, and Postecoglou is clearly well aware of that.
If the midfielder is handed his Premier League debut on Sunday, it would be no more than he deserves.
