Tottenham gem Jamie Donley hailed as ‘phenomenal’ claim emerges
Tottenham have several talented young players for fans to be excited by.
While things aren’t so positive in North London at the moment, with Ange Postecoglou under immense pressure, there is still reason for supporters to be optimistic.
That is because Tottenham have a host of talented young stars currently playing for the Under-18s, Under-21s, or out on loan, as well as in the first-team.
And one of those talented young players is Jamie Donley, who recently made a big impact for Leyton Orient in the FA Cup.

Spurs supporters recently urged the North London club to recall Donley and Josh Keeley after an “unbelievable” jibe was aimed at Postecoglou.
However, Donley remains at Leyton Orient, much to the benefit of the League One club and its supporters based on the 19-year-old’s recent performances.
Donley played a big part as Leyton Orient took the lead in their eventual 2-1 FA Cup defeat to Manchester City at the Gaughan Group Stadium on Saturday (8 February), lobbing Stefan Ortega from the halfway line, with the ball rebounding off the crossbar and deflecting in off the goalkeeper.
And Lilywhite Rose owner John Wenham – speaking exclusively to Tottenham News – was delighted to see the Spurs youngster make an impact on such a big stage.
“We’ve seen Donley score that kind of goal before,” Wenham said.
“However, we haven’t seen him score that kind of goal against a team like Manchester City live on BBC One when everyone is watching.
“We’re talking about a phenomenal player from a technical point of view. Therefore, to see him deliver like that against City was particularly pleasing. For him, it will just be about continuing to build on that performance.”

Donley proved in his performance against City that he is ready for first-team football.
Therefore, Postecoglou probably wishes that he had recalled the player to have him as an option amid the club’s ongoing injury crisis.

However, Donley is still at Leyton Orient, where he will be keen to continue making an impact.
