Tottenham mooted to offer player-plus-cash for Inter Milan ace Davide Frattesi

Tottenham are interested in signing Inter Milan midfielder Davide Frattesi – and could use one of their own midfielders as part of a deal.

As reported by TV Play (11 January), Spurs are ready to offer £26million for Frattesi’s services, with the Italian expected to demand a big money contract if he were to move to North London.

Should Spurs sign the 25-year-old, that could spell the end for Yves Bissouma in North London, with Daniel Levy having previously been urged to accept a multi-million loss on the Mail international.

And ex-Spurs scout Bryan King – speaking exclusively to Tottenham News – has suggested that Bissouma could even be included as part of a deal for Frattesi.

“That would certainly be an interesting player [Frattesi] to bring to the club,” King said.

“However, it would most likely mean a midfielder already at Tottenham – such as Bissouma – probably moving on, or perhaps even being included as part of the deal.

“Who knows, maybe if Bissouma wants a fresh start, and Frattesi does too, Spurs could offer Bissouma plus cash to Inter Milan.”

Tottenham to offer Yves Bissouma plus cash for Davide Frattesi?

Bissouma has been incredibly inconsistent since joining Spurs from Brighton, with supporters recently calling for the club to cut ties with the 28-year-old.

Therefore, if they can use the midfielder as part of a deal to sign another player in his position, that could be a smart bit of business.

Tottenham have had a lot of joy in recent seasons signing players from the Serie A, with the likes of Dejan Kulusevski and Cristian Romero both making big impacts at the club. Therefore, Frattesi could prove to be a shrewd bit of business.
