Tottenham fans displayed a banner protesting the club's ownership and Daniel Levy ahead of kick-off against Leicester on Sunday.

Ange Postecoglou was dealt a blow ahead of the Premier League clash with the Foxes at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on 26 January, with James Maddison nowhere to be seen.

Ahead of the clash on Sunday, Daniel Levy was warned that he would face backlash from fans in North London.

And as per Nizaar Kinsella [via BBC Sport, 26 January, 2:08 pm], "A banner in the south stand reading: "24 years, 16 managers, 1 trophy - time for change" was displayed in the south stand ahead of kick-off."

Spurs' lack of transfer activity in the winter window has been simply inexcusable.

The signing of Antonín Kinský represented a bright start to the window, and Levy's personal involvement in the transfer suggested that he understood the importance and need for new additions.

However, since the goalkeeper arrived in North London, no new players have been added to the squad, despite the treatment room only getting busier and busier at Hotspur Way.

Therefore, it is no surprise that fans are beginning to turn on Levy.

While Ange Postecoglou is under pressure, it does feel as though he hasn't been offered much support by the club in January.

As a result, if Levy wants to change public perception, he needs to make some signings before 3 February.

However, considering the chairman's track record, fans won't be holding their breath. Therefore, the protests are only likely to continue.
