Tottenham selection hint dropped as never-before-seen duo spotted at Rangers
Ange Postecoglou may have provided a slight selection hint for when his Tottenham side face Rangers on Thursday night with two youth players spotted at Ibrox.
Tottenham’s encounter with Rangers on 12 December could prove crucial for both managers who have been under pressure in recent weeks with several changes expected for Tottenham.
Two of those potential changes could see debuts for Malachi Hardy and Alfie Dorrington, who were both spotted at Ibrox as per Lilywhite Rose on X with the latter potentially the most likely to feature.
Both players have immense potential and could be utilised against the Gers to good effect.
Tottenham may turn to youth against Rangers
With Cristian Romero sidelined for six weeks, Spurs are somewhat short in the defensive department and both Hardy and Dorrington have impressed at youth level in that area on a consistent basis.
Hardy, a centre-back by trade, could make his debut at just 16 years old while Dorrington has an extra three years of experience albeit he is still yet to feature for Tottenham.
Both players have impressed at youth level and have been training with the Spurs first team ahead of anticipated integration into the senior set-up.

Of course that may take longer for Hardy who is highly unlikely to be thrown into the deep end against elite, fierce attackers but Dorrington’s debut could come very soon given his extra few years of development.
Nonetheless, Spurs have an excellent defensive pairing coming through their academy with the teen duo and their inclusion at Ibrox can only be seen as a positive going forward.
