Mikey Moore ready to explode at Tottenham after ‘stunning’ thing he did on Tuesday

Mikey Moore could make a big impact under Ange Postecoglou at Tottenham next season.

It has been quite a few weeks for Tottenham forward Moore.

In the dying moments of Spurs’ 2-0 defeat to Manchester City (14 May), the Under-18 star became the youngest-ever player to appear for Tottenham in the Premier League.

He followed that up with another appearance off the bench in the 3-0 victory against Sheffield United at Bramall Lane (19 May).

And it looks as if he has taken this momentum with him to the UEFA European Under-17 Championship.

England’s Under-17s got their campaign off to the perfect start on Tuesday (21 May) with a 4-0 victory over France, and Spurs’ Moore was arguably the best player on the pitch.

The 16-year-old netted the opener after just 81 seconds before grabbing a second, with his performance turning plenty of heads.

Per the Daily Mail (21 May), “Moore added a second of his own and England’s third before half-time with a stunning individual run and finish.

“In truth, Moore looked the brightest star in England’s side as he lined up on the left side of central midfield and continually caused problems for France throughout the game.”

Mikey Moore destined for greatness at Tottenham under Ange Postecoglou

Moore’s profile is rising rapidly.

Despite having not yet celebrated his 17th birthday, the winger has already appeared twice in the Premier League, demonstrating the faith Postecoglou has in him.

If Moore continues on this trajectory, he could reach the very top in North London.

Spurs have qualified for next season’s UEFA Europa League, which could offer Moore the perfect opportunity to feature more frequently next season.

As for now, Spurs fans will be curious to keep an eye on his performances at the Under-17 Euros.
