Ange Postecoglou will absolutely love Tottenham Under-18s gem Callum Olusesi as the club’s youngsters continue to impress on international duty.
Mikey Moore, 16, was also involved on Monday 27 May as England U17s beat Spain 3-1 in the U17 European Championship, with Olusesi playing a vital role in the opening goal.
The 17-year-old centre-midfielder “didn’t disappoint”, as per Tottenham Hotspur, supplying the assist as Chelsea’s Shumaira Mheuka swivelled on the ball and powered in the first goal after six minutes.
Olusesi has certainly grown into the season for Spurs, boasting nine goals and five assists in all competitions, and even taking the captain’s armband for the final few matches of the U18 Premier League season.
If the youngster continues to develop and impress, Postecoglou will not be able to ignore him much longer before awarding him his senior debut next season.

Postecoglou has proven that he is open to allowing youth to seep through into the senior squad, with Moore recently becoming the club’s youngest-ever Premier League debutant before earning a second appearance.
Dane Scarlett, Damie Donley and Tyrese Hall have all been involved with the senior team in recent weeks, having proven themselves at youth level and earning the step up.
Olusesi certainly has the potential to be the next name brought through to the first team, alongside his academy teammates, though it will definitely be a big promotion for him.
He will be a player to keep an eye on as England U17s advance to the next round of the European Championship, set to take on Italy on Thursday 30 May.
