Tottenham make last-gasp offer to sign Marc Guehi – Fabrizio Romano

Tottenham have made a late bid to sign Marc Guehi from Crystal Palace, according to Fabrizio Romano.

However, the transfer expert, reporting via his personal X account (3 February), added that the offer, which was made in the “last 48 hours” has already been rejected by Palace.

Guehi, though, remains a top target for Spurs, with their interest in the centre-back expected to wait until the end of the season.

Crystal Palace reject Tottenham bid for Marc Guehi

Tottenham have added two new players to their ranks during the ongoing winter transfer window, signing Antonin Kinsky and Kevin Danso on permanent deals.

However, Ange Postecoglou is keen to add more players to his squad before the window closes at 11 pm on Monday (3 February).

With injuries in the defensive department a major concern, the North London giants are targeting one more central defender.

Spurs’ interest in Axel Disasi is widely reported, with an agreement already in place with Chelsea over a loan deal until the end of the season.

However, Postecoglou’s side are yet to agree personal terms with Disasi, meaning they are considering alternatives.

That is perhaps why Daniel Levy made a late effort to sign Guehi from Palace.

The 24-year-old is in the final 18 months of his contract at Selhurst Park and maybe available for a transfer ahead of next season.

However, the Eagles were always likely to rebuff any bid for the central defender this window.
