Tottenham make £50m Mohammed Kudus bid, West Ham respond to offer

Mohammed Kudus could become a very unpopular player at West Ham by joining Tottenham.

Tottenham’s interest in Kudus as their next marquee signing has grown in recent weeks.

Daniel Levy has made his desires for Tottenham to win the Premier League and UEFA Champions League clear, and with Spurs reportedly backing off from Eberechi Eze, all signs are pointing toward the Lilywhites acquiring Kudus this summer.

Tottenham’s first Kudus bid rejected by West Ham

As reported by Matt Law via The Telegraph on Monday (30 June), Tottenham want to end their “unofficial transfer embargo” with West Ham by signing Kudus this summer.

If successful, Kudus would be the first player to move between the two clubs since Scott Parker in 2011.

West Ham and Tottenham have not conducted business since the Parker deal, with Levy blocking Emmanuel Adebayor from joining the Hammers in 2015.

According to Paul O’Keefe via X (30 June), Tottenham saw a £50million bid for Kudus rejected by West Ham last week.

The North London club are going to have to do a lot more to steal one of their star players this summer.

Kudus would fit Tottenham like a glove

Tottenham have been due a ‘big signing’ and Kudus could be the man to take them to the next level.

While the Ghanaian struggled to find his best form last season, he is a unique profile which would benefit Spurs. Indeed, the forward can play across the front line as well as an attacking midfielder. This would greatly benefit Tottenham, who are usually in need of an extra profile due to injuries.

The West Ham star could also give several Spurs players some competition next season. Brennan Johnson is one player whose starting spot could be at risk, as Kudus is majestic when deployed on the right flank.

Furthermore, with Son Heung-min likely to leave Tottenham in the coming weeks, Kudus could also take over on the left. The possibilities are endless, but whatever Spurs decides, they will need to act fast to avoid missing out this summer.
