Tottenham deal to sign Bayern Munich ace stalls as new arrival imminent
Tottenham have seen a potential deal to sign Daniel Peretz from Bayern Munich stall, according to The Independent.
The newspaper reported via their website on 4 January that Spurs’ hopes of pursuing a move for the goalkeeper amid Guglielmo Vicario’s injury hit a snag after Manuel Neuer injured his rib.
Ange Postecoglou have since turned their attention towards Antonion Kinsky, with a deal worth £12.5million already in place.

At 24 years of age, Peretz is a much more experienced goalkeeper than Kinsky, who was having his first full season with Slavia Prague’s senior team before agreeing the move to England.
The Israel international arrived at Bayern in 2023 and has made five appearances for Vincent Kompany’s side this season.
He would perhaps been in a better position to compete with Vicario for the number one spot at Spurs, but it appears that opportunity has fallen to Kinsky now.
Fabrizio Romano reported on Saturday (4 January) that the 21-year-old is already in London to complete his transfer to the North London outfit, meaning an announcement should be imminent.

Ange Postecoglou has been stretched thin in the goalkeeping department in recent weeks and was forced to hand Brandon Austin his debut in the 2-1 loss against Newcastle on Saturday after backup goalkeeper Fraser Forster was sidelined due to illness.
He will, therefore, will be delighted to see Tottenham wrap up a deal for Kinsky as soon as possible.
In other Tottenham news, Ian Wright was left fuming at a controversy in the game against Newcastle.
