Sky Sports share big Harry Kane transfer update amid Bayern Munich latest
Harry Kane has been the subject of ambitious return talk at Tottenham in recent days, due to the latest on his Bayern Munich release clause.
The Spurs and England all-time top scorer can leave Bayern for £67million this summer and £54million next January, it has been revealed.
Tottenham fans are naturally excited by the potential of a reunion one day with Kane, 31, who has admitted he is happy in Germany with his side in the driving seat for what would be the first major trophy of his career in the Bundesliga.
Sky Sports issue Harry Kane update
Kane told FIFA recently that he is “loving” life at Bayern Munich (via Sky Sports, 11 February), playing down any real chance of a departure from Germany anytime soon.
The Three Lions captain, who will join forces with league-winning former Bayern boss Thomas Tuchel for the first time next month, has no plans to leave the European giants anytime soon.
Since Kane’s departure, Tottenham have looked to fill the void with the currently injured Dominic Solanke, who they signed for £65million from Bournemouth but is currently one of several sidelined.
Kane said: “I’m loving [Bayern]. I’m enjoying this season with the team, with the coach. We’re playing some really good football and that’s always a joy to be a part of as well.”
Under contract until 2027 in Munich, Kane has scored seven goals in his last four games and has 28 in as many matches so far this year.
He scored 44 in 45 games in all competitions in his debut campaign on the continent, bettering his most prolific season at Tottenham in 2017-18, during which he hit 41 in 48 games.

Tottenham in attack this season
Tottenham’s issue certainly hasn’t been their attacking output this season, having spent a large chunk of the Premier League term as the division’s highest scorers.
This was despite a consistent bottom-half dwelling which is still ongoing, with Ange Postecoglou’s men sat 14th in the table but with the joint-third-highest goals record of 48.
Only leading duo Liverpool and Arsenal have scored more, while Spurs are level on goals scored with a Manchester City side aiming to claw their way back into the Champions League places for good.
