Mathys Tel transfer: Tottenham loan fee details emerge after Deadline Day swoop
Tottenham will pay Bayern Munich a loan fee of up to £8.3million for Mathys Tel’s services, according to Christian Falk.
The BILD journalist reported via X (4 February) the details of the loan fee, with Spurs covering 100 per cent of the Frenchman’s wages until the end of the season.

Tottenham win Deadline Day with Mathys Tel signing
Daniel Levy may not be the most beloved figure among the Tottenham faithful, but he delivered on his promise to Ange Postecoglou on Deadline Day.
By all accounts, the Spurs chairman endured a rough winter transfer window, with Randal Kolo Muani, Fikayo Tomori, Axel Disasi and initially Tel all rejecting his advances.
However, he has secured the signature of one of the brightest young talents in Europe and, better yet, holds the option to make the move permanent for £45.7m [David Ornstein].
While Tel’s reluctance means he will face an uphill battle to win over the love of the Tottenham faithful, he can quickly turn the tide if he hits the ground running in the Premier League.
Of course, with the mounting injuries in North London, Tel will be expected to become an immediate starter and could be flung straight into the starting lineup for the Carabao Cup semi-final clash against Liverpool (6 February).
The 19-year-old will ease the absence of Dominic Solanke while providing healthy competition to Richarlison and can also operate on the flanks once the Englishman returns to the first-team fold.
In other Tottenham news, Ange Postecoglou is expected to axe a Spurs ace v Liverpool.
