Tottenham could reunite with a fan favourite in the near future.

Tottenham’s new signings have gotten off to a strong start in North London.

Randal Kolo Muani is yet to take to the pitch for Spurs. But there is a sense Thomas Frank could hand him his debut when Tottenham take on Villarreal in the UEFA Champions League

However, there is a growing feeling that the Lilywhites could reunite with one former star.

Tottenham expert wants Harry Kane return

Tottenham fans and Harry Kane have had their differences in the past, with concerns over how he’s carried himself since leaving North London.

But most will always miss the England captain who became a legend at Spurs.

There is the chance that Kane could return to Spurs in the distant future, with German journalist Raphael Honigstein telling talkSPORT (via The Express) that Bayern Munich are “braced” for the centre-forward to depart before his contract runs out in 2027.

As such, Tottenham expert and Lilywhite Rose owner John Wenham – speaking exclusively to Tottenham News – would be thrilled if Kane returns to the North London club.

“I would trade out every player we've got to just start again with Kane,” Wenham said.

“That’s the answer. Of course, you're talking about the best striker in the world, who always proves it. And I'm sure he'll have his eye on coming back to the Premier League and becoming the all-time leading goal scorer. So without question.”

What was Harry Kane’s record at Tottenham?

Kane left Tottenham in 2023 and signed for Bayern, where he has already netted 93 goals in 101 appearances.

But before the German club game Spurs, where he is already a living legend, having achieved the feat of all-time top scorer before he left.

  • Kane scored 280 goals for Tottenham in 435 appearances before his departure
  • The striker needs 47 goals to surpass Alan Shearer as the record Premier League goalscorer

With Shearer’s record in mind, it would not be a surprise to see Kane land in the top division once again. Despite the new age under Thomas Frank, there is no better club than Spurs for him to break that record.
