Fabio Paratici plots new Tottenham talks as Fiorentina make Manor Solomon decision
Fiorentina remain interested in keeping Tottenham Hotspur loanee Manor Solomon next season.
The Israeli winger has never established himself as a first-team regular at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium since signing in the summer of 2023.
He spent the 2024-25 campaign with Leeds United, helping the Whites secure the Championship title and a return to the Premier League.
The 26-year-old then spent the first half of last season in LaLiga with Villarreal, but was recalled and sent to Fiorientina for the second half of the campaign.
Solomon scored two goals, provided one assist, and created three big chances from 16 Serie A appearances.
Fiorentina are seemingly keen for Solomon to remain at Stadio Artemio Franchi, but it may need some movement on Tottenham's side to happen.
Fabio Paratici wants to renegotiate Manor Solomon agreement with Tottenham
Fabio Paratici is a man who is no stranger to Tottenham supporters.
He had two spells as sporting director at Spurs, the second of which came to an end in February just three months after he returned to the Lilywhites.
Paratici is now in a similar role with Fiorentina back in his native Italy, and it appears he will soon be contacting his former employees regarding Solomon.
Gazzetta dello Sport are reporting that Fiorentina are "not inclined" to pay the roughly £8.6million purchase option to make Solomon's move permanent.
Instead, they say that Paratici is ready to send a new loan proposal in the coming hours for the 2026/27 campaign.
The report adds that new Fiorentina boss Fabio Grosso is an admirer of Solomon's and wants him as part of his squad.
Who else could leave Tottenham this summer?
Tottenham have been extremely active in the transfer market already this window.
Andrew Robertson, Marcos Senesi, and Jean Paul van Hecke have all arrived, while the likes of Sandro Tonali and Mateus Fernandes have been linked with the club.
Exits will inevitably happen, too, and Luka Vuskovic and Lucas Bergvall look nailed on to seek pastures new, with the former subject of interest from Brighton and the latter telling the club he wants to leave.
There are also suggestions goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario could return to Italy, while captain Cristian Romero is facing an uncertain future too.
