Daniel Levy missed out on the opportunity to sign Mohammed Kudus, Ibrahim Osman and Mohamed Diomande from FC Nordsjaelland at a bargain price, Tottenham News has learned.

As per Rangers' official X account (26 January) Diomande recently completed a move from the Danish side to the Glasgow giants on an initial loan with an obligation to make the deal permanent next summer.

Meanwhile, Kudus moved from Nordsjaelland to Ajax in 2020 before he was signed by Spurs' London rivals West Ham last summer for a fee of £38million (Sky Sports News, 28 August 2023).

As for Osman, the Hammers are eyeing a £15million swoop to bring the Ghanian left winger to the London Stadium this month and unite him with his fellow countryman, Kudus (Evening Standard, 25 January).

A recruitment source with close links to the Danish market has revealed to Tottenham News that the three players were offered out by Nordsjaelland previously, with Spurs and Manchester United both having the opportunity to sign the trio for what would have been a combined fee of £8million.

Both clubs turned down the offers, with the players now worth in excess of £80million.

All three players are young and will only see their values continue to rise over the coming years.
