Daniel Levy jets out to finalise Tottenham new signing, agreement in place

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has arrived in Munich to accelerate talks for Mathys Tel, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The transfer specialist reported on 31 January that an agreement has already been reached with Bayern Munich and talks are now being held with the 19-year-old and his agent.

Spurs are aware of competition from other Premier League clubs and as a result, are keen to push a deal over the line for the France Under-21 international.

Finally, fans of the Lilywhites have some potential transfer news to sink their teeth into as the chairman looks to force through a deal with the German outfit.

Ange Postecoglou’s side has been crying out for additions to help cover for the lengthy injury list that only continues to grow in North London.

Now the Australian looks set to have a new forward on the way to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with Levy holding face-to-face talks with Tel.

The young forward netted 16 times for Bayern Munich last season and the addition of his youthful exuberance and eye for goal could be useful to help turn the tide for Spurs after a rough patch of form.

In other Tottenham news, Postecoglou has announced a new crushing injury blow ahead of the Brentford clash.
