Tottenham appear to be building for their future and they managed to pull one over Aston Villa, Brentford, Norwich and other interested clubs.

While the future of Ange Postecoglou is not yet secured, the hierarchy appears to be securing the next few years in terms of their academy prospects.

Postecoglou could be sacked at the end of the season and a lot could ride on the Europa League final against Manchester United.

Ellis Lehane snubs Villa and Brentford to sign Spurs contract

According to Football Insider on 19 May, Ellis Lehane has signed a professional deal with Spurs.

The 18-year-old striker was wanted by Villa, Brentford and Norwich, but he did not fancy moving to any of those clubs.

He even had offers on the table from Lecce, Verona and Cagliari, but they were all turned down by the teenager.
