Disasi loan deal in limbo as Tottenham rejected
Tottenham are attempting to beat Aston Villa to the loan signing of Axel Disasi from Chelsea, according to Fabrizio Romano (2 February).
Spurs and Chelsea had reportedly agreed loan terms without a buy option in the summer, but Disasi has already agreed terms with Villa and would prefer to join Unai Emery’s side in the Champions League.
Chelsea are however not willing to negotiate with Villa over lending Disasi, meaning Tottenham still believe there is a chance of securing the defender.
Jose Mourinho interested in Tottenham captain Son
Spurs have ruled out letting Son Heung-min leave in the window, according to Fanatik (2 February).
Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbahce were credited with an interest in the North London legend, but it is highly unlikely Son’s former manager will get his man, whose contract extension option was recently triggered until 2026.
Son is approaching a decade as a Spurs player and saw his future as a lengthy topic of discussion before his contract extension.

Tottenham enquire about signing Noah Okafor
Tottenham are interested in signing AC Milan forward Noah Okafor, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, via Sempre Milan (2 February).
Okafor is anticipated to leave San Siro on loan before the transfer deadline with both Spurs and West Ham United interested, Ange Postecoglou’s side having reportedly made an enquiry.
The 24-year-old Swiss international has only appeared 11 times in Serie A for Milan this season, scoring once.
Kevin Danso can make Tottenham debut v Liverpool
Spurs’ second signing of the winter transfer window, Danso, can make his debut against Liverpool in the Carabao Cup this week, reports Alasdair Gold (2 February).
Danso will be registered in time to play the crucial semi-final second leg at Anfield, as Tottenham bid for a first trophy in 17 years.
The Lilywhites hijacked Wolves’ move for Danso by signing the 26-year-old Austrian defender on loan with an obligation to buy in the summer.
