Tottenham transfer news: Sam Johnstone loan deal emerges
Tottenham could make a loan move for Wolves goalkeeper Sam Johnstone in January, according to Graeme Bailey.
The report for TBR Football on 2 January claims that the England international will be allowed to leave Molineux in the winter window and that the Lilywhites are interested in his services.
First-choice goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario is expected to be out of action for the foreseeable future and Fraser Forster has struggled in his absence.

January is a notoriously hard time to bring in quality players as clubs are unwilling to part with key assets halfway through the season.
However, Spurs need to make a move for a goalkeeper as Forster has proved to not be good enough to replace Vicario.
While he has been in between the sticks, the Lilywhites have won just two times in 10 matches in all competitions, with the former Southampton stopper conceding 21 goals in that period.
Ange Postecoglou needs results to turn around drastically otherwise he will likely be sacked with pressure mounting on the Australian after that poor run of results.
It looks like he is set to be backed in the January transfer market and Johnstone would represent a good addition at a good price and allow Spurs to spend more on other positions of needs.
The club are reportedly targeting a goalkeeper, center-back, left-back, midfielder and an attacker [Football London] as they seek to climb from 11th place in the Premier League.
