‘Tottenham dealt Morgan Gibbs-White blow’ after Nottingham Forest twist
Tottenham will struggle to remain optimistic about signing Morgan Gibbs-White after a fresh twist in the saga.
Forest were furious when they learnt of Spurs’ pursuit of Gibbs-White and launched a legal complaint against the Lilywhites.

Gibbs-White present at Forest training on Tuesday
Tottenham fans were ecstatic when Forest Review (15 July) reported that Gibbs-White was absent from training on Tuesday.
This comes after supporters spotted that the Forest midfielder was wearing white and blue on his return to training on Monday (14 July) as part of potential dissent.

But hopes are expected to drop following the latest news. As reported by Tom Barclay via X (15 July), Gibbs-White was present at Forest training on Tuesday.
This will come as a devastating blow to Spurs, who could be banking on the Englishman to force a move to North London. While the outcome of Forest’s complaint is unknown, it is entirely plausible that the club could need Gibbs-White to apply pressure to secure his move later down the line.
However, his presence in training could indicate that he does not want to leave his current club on bad terms.
Tottenham need to sign Gibbs-White this summer
Tottenham started their summer transfer window off with a bang when Mohammed Kudus was signed from West Ham.
The Ghanaian forward is expected to play a key role for Spurs in the coming years. However, Gibbs-White would take the club to the next level.
He is a versatile midfielder who can play as a number 10 or an advanced eight.
Not only will Gibbs-White’s versatility allow Thomas Frank to attempt several combinations in the midfield, but he is a player who fights for the badge. This will allow him to win over the hearts of Spurs supporters when the club embarks on their European journey next season.
Therefore, Tottenham must get the signing of Gibbs-White over the line this summer.
