Tottenham book Gibbs-White medical as transfer plot twist emerges in new clause
Tottenham are shifting their transfer window up a gear in preparation for the Premier League season.
Spurs have already turned Mathys Tel and Kevin Danso’s loan deals into permanent ones after the pair spent the second half of last season on loan.
Mohammed Kudus is closing in on a move from West Ham in what will be a sizeable deal for the North London club.
Now, Tottenham are moving in on Nottingham Forest star Morgan Gibbs-White after a series of updates on his future.

Gibbs-White updates emerge amid Tottenham links
Tottenham have already opened talks with Forest for Gibbs-White, with the transfer said to be accelerating quickly.
The midfielder had been linked with a move to Man City within recent months, but that talk has since gone quiet.
Gibbs-White played a pivotal role for the Premier League outfit last season, with 15 goal contributions in the top flight.

Forest missed out on the top European competitions by fine margins and are set to pay the ultimate price after The Telegraph’s updates.
Now, it has been revealed that the attacking midfielder has a release clause of £60million, according to John Percy (10 July).
With the transfer gathering pace at lightspeed, the Forest man will have a medical at Spurs tomorrow, as per Mike McGrath (10 July).
As Spurs have triggered the England international’s release clause, an arrival in North London is imminent.
Gibbs-White worth the money for Thomas Frank
Given how expensive English players can cost in the current market, £60million for a player performing as well as the midfielder must be regarded as solid business.
Gibbs-White has been a talisman for Forest and has played a significant part in their revival as one of England’s biggest clubs.
Frank needs more quality within his midfield and will have an abundance of options if they can seal Kudus and the 25-year-old.
Of course, Spurs already have Dejan Kulusevski and James Maddison, who can operate in forward areas.
However, with Champions League football on the horizon, Frank would rather have several quality options.
