Son Heung-min transfer round-up: Fresh news emerges as Tottenham arrive in South Korea
Son Heung-min has been heavily linked with a departure from Tottenham this summer.
The 33-year-old has been a phenomenal servant across a ten-year spell with the Lilywhites, but he could finally be approaching the end of his stint in N17.
The South Korean’s powers waned over the course of last season, and that has prompted speculation that Spurs may want to move in a different direction as they enter the Thomas Frank era.
With that in mind, Tottenham News rounds up all the latest transfer stories surrounding the star.

Son scheduled to hold talks with Frank
Tottenham have already made it clear that no decision will be made on Son’s future until after their pre-season.
The North Londoners landed in South Korea on Friday (1 August), and it is understood that Frank will hold talks with the club captain upon the squad’s return to the UK.
Spurs are currently understood to be open to allowing Son to leave, but also content to keep him around, which suggests that the decision will be left up to the player himself.
They play the final match of that trip on Sunday (3 August), so it may only be a matter of a few days after that before the situation becomes slightly clearer.

Son could leave Tottenham after UEFA Super Cup final
It has been speculated that Tottenham may try and delay a potential exit for Son until after the upcoming UEFA Super Cup final.
Frank’s side are set to line up against PSG in the showpiece European final on 13 August, as the winners of the Champions League and Europa League go head to head.
Lilywhite Rose owner John Wenham – speaking exclusively to Tottenham News – believes that a departure could take place towards the end of August, after that tie has passed.
“I think LAFC would be a good move for Son,” Wenham said.
“That has been widely reported, and what we’ve seen at the moment is that won’t happen until after Tottenham’s tour of Asia. I’d also like him to be available for the Super Cup as well.
“Therefore, we’re probably looking at the end of August.”

Son is still in talks with LAFC over a potential move
Son has been in talks with LAFC over a potential move throughout the last few days.
The MLS side are believed to have been making progress in their bid to convince the veteran to join, while Spurs could allow him to leave on a free transfer if a deal can be arranged.
However, it has now come to light that an agreement is still yet to be reached, according to Florian Plettenberg via X (1 August).
The German journalist understands that while there has been no decision made at this stage, that those negotiations are still ongoing.
