Sane replaces Son, Luka Modric returns – Daniel Levy’s dream Tottenham transfer XI
Tottenham are shaping up for a busy summer transfer window, and there is potential for some big signings as they qualified for the Champions League.
Ange Postecoglou won the Europa League, but could still lose his job after finishing 17th in the Premier League.
Tottenham are in need of a huge rebuild, and several big names including Heung-Min Son could be on their way out.
Spurs need signings to add extra quality as well as depth to the squad and Tottenham News has drawn up a starting line-up of potential transfers that Daniel Levy could help make throughout the upcoming window.

Kyle Walker-Peters could return to Tottenham
Tottenham could secure themselves a bargain as former academy product Kyle Walker-Peters will be available as a free agent, as it stands.
The defender will leave Southampton following their relegation, but he was individually impressive over the last few years, and can play at full-back on either side.
Matches | Starts | Minutes | Goals | Assists | Clean Sheets | Goals Conceded |

Spurs could do with more defensive depth, and promising players such as Loic Bade at Sevilla, as well as Inter’s Yann Bisseck, should be targeted.
Tottenham could take advantage of a potential clear-out at Real Madrid, and sign a Champions League-proven player in David Alaba if he becomes available, and he may not be the only one worth targeting.

Spurs could bring Luka Modric back
A lot of players have left Spurs to succeed elsewhere, but none more perhaps than Luka Modric, who became a legend at Real Madrid after leaving Tottenham in 2012.
The 39-year-old is a free agent and is still capable of performing at the top level, and a shock return to North London could benefit everyone.
Spurs would gain an experienced and quality creator, which they otherwise lack, while Modric can continue his remarkable final few years at the top level.
Tottenham have also been linked with Adam Wharton and Angel Gomes to bolster their midfield, with a range of profiles needed.

Leroy Sane could replace Heung-Min Son
It has been reported that Tottenham legend Heung-Min Son could be allowed to leave this summer after a difficult season, and his sale could raise funds to reinvest into the team.
Son would need to be replaced despite losing his starting spot, and Bayern Munich star Leroy Sane could be perfect in this regard.
The 29-year-old has been heavily linked with Tottenham as a proven winger who can play on both sides, and he could be the ideal experienced winger to replace a player as important as Son.
Spurs could take advantage of this market opportunity, and could also sign a younger option in Southampton starlet Tyler Dibling, but his price tag may be tricky to navigate.
A market opportunity may present itself in Chelsea flop Christopher Nkunku, who could add versatile depth to the front line, and the Frenchman may be available this summer after a difficult spell at Stamford Bridge.
