Neymar reacts instantly as Tottenham announce new transfer agreement
Tottenham have completed their second signing of the winter window.
With Thomas Frank still at risk of the sack at Tottenham, Daniel Levy has had two options.
Either he axes the man who replaced Ange Postecoglou in the summer, or he backs him with new arrivals in the winter transfer window.
After the arrival of Conor Gallagher, he opted to go with the latter, and Tottenham have now officially completed their second winter signing, with a new announcement made on Instagram.

Souza completes long-term Tottenham transfer
Tottenham have been looking at Souza throughout the last few months, with the Brazilian catching the headlines back in his home country.
The 19-year-old made his breakthrough for Santos back in 2024, where he has since made 38 appearances across all competitions, emerging as a player with bags of potential.
Now, that potential will be put to the test at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with Spurs having announced his arrival on Thursday in a series of posts on Instagram.
Souza has signed a “long-term contract” with the North Londoners and will battle with Destiny Udogie for a starting place.
On the message announcing his arrival, Neymar was among those who liked the post, alongside current Tottenham defender Pedro Porro.
Neymar started his career at Santos, having also rejoined them last year, where he featured several times alongside Spurs’ new defender.
What has Thomas Frank said about Souza’s arrival?
As mentioned above, Souza will have to contend with Udogie if he is to break into the starting 11 under Frank this season.
However, given that the Italian has often showcased some inconsistency in his game, he will almost certainly get some minutes here and there.
At just 19 years old, Tottenham will have to show patience with Souza, and Frank’s words after his arrival was announced suggest that they are going to allow him time to settle in and get used to the English game.
Via the Tottenham site, Frank said: “I’m really pleased to add Souza to our squad. He is a talented, promising young full-back who is forward-thinking and technically very good.
“I’m looking forward to working with him and helping develop that potential, as we believe we have bought one of the brightest left-back talents in the world, who can give us something now but also for the future.”
Souza will wear the number 38 shirt for Spurs this season, which is the same number Udogie wore when he first arrived in North London back in 2023.
