Marcus Rashford shock: Man United ready to let star join Tottenham
Manchester United have now “placed” Marcus Rashford at Tottenham, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Italian outlet reported via their website (22 January) that the Red Devils are willing to allow the Englishman to join Spurs.
Ange Postecoglou’s team have been linked with the attacker since the winter transfer window opened and Gazzetta said that Rashford, once a target for AC Milan, could now be North London bound.
Marcus Rashford could turn the fortunes of Tottenham around
It’s no secret that the 2024/25 season has been far from ideal for Tottenham and their fans.
They currently sit 15th in the Premier League table with 16th-placed Everton just four points behind them.
While they’re not yet involved in the relegation battle, if Postecoglou can’t figure out a way to turn things around soon, it could start to get even more toxic at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium than it already is.
It’s evident that Spurs need some reinforcement to bolster their ranks and unless some new faces are brought in, it’s hard to see how things could turn around.

Not only is Rashford versatile but he’s also vastly experienced in the top-flight and when he’s on form, he can be one of the most clinical players in the league.
Times have been tough recently for the Red Devils’ academy graduate but a move to North London could be exactly what both he and Spurs need to get their campaigns back on track.
In other Tottenham news, Yves Bissouma is surely finished at Spurs after what was said about his teammates.
