Levy transfer reveal shared by ex-Tottenham CEO, message sent to Postecoglou
Daniel Levy is working to sign “top players” at Tottenham, says former CEO Claude Littner.
The Spurs chairman has come under fire in North London for many reasons but the current transfer window has left fans frustrated.
With the injury issues Ange Postecoglou is dealing with, reinforcements were needed in January but other than Antonin Kinsky, there has been little activity in N17.
Former Lilywhites CEO, Littner believes the Australian head coach has to utilise youngsters this season while Levy works to sign new players.
Taking to X on 26 January, he said: “Pretty damn sure Daniel [Levy] is doing his utmost to sign top players. Meanwhile, Ange MUST play our young, eager, talented Academy players to fill the gaps!”

There has been many injury issues at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this season, none more so than at centre back and yet no one has been signed to change that.
Archie Gray has been forced to play in that role, despite typically operating as a central midfielder or a right-back during his time with Leeds United.
With both Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven absent for lengthy periods, the Lilywhites have really struggled defensively which has seen pressure pile on the Australian head coach.
If Levy doesn’t work quickly to help provide the Spurs squad with fresh faces this winter, the chairman could soon be saying “You’re fired” to Postecoglou.
In other Tottenham news, Harry Redknapp has said that everyone is raving about this 17-year-old rising star.
