Tottenham will take confidence from decade-long Premier League final day form
Tottenham Hotspur have a strong record on the final day of the Premier League season over the last 10 years.
So, it all comes down to Sunday, as Tottenham welcome Everton to N17 for the final game of the 2025-26 season.
Roberto De Zerbi‘s side came agonisingly close to securing their Premier League status at Stamford Bridge last time out, setting up a nervy matchday 38 meeting with the Toffees.
David Moyes’ men are in a dismal run of form, with no league wins in their last six, losing three and drawing three in that time.
So, ahead of the final match of the campaign, Tottenham News scans back over Spurs’ record on the last day of the season over the last 10 terms.

What is Tottenham’s final day record like since 2015-16?
Tottenham beat Everton 3-0 in the last time these two historic Premier League sides met back in October last year, and so the Lilywhites will be going for the double over them on Sunday.
On top of that, the Hill Dickinson Stadium outfit have only beaten Spurs once in their last 10 top-flight clashes, and so the recent form between the pair certainly sides with Tottenham.

So, there appears to be a number of positive omens in the sky for Spurs ahead of this one, and when turning the pages of their recent final day history book, it only gets better too.
That’s because in the 10 final day games they’ve contested from the 2015-16 season onwards, Tottenham have only lost twice, drawing two and winning six times respectively.
Spurs did record one of those two losses to Brighton last season, but between 2020-21 and 2023-24, they won all four of their final day games.
You have to back to the 2015-16 season to find Tottenham’s only other final day loss in the last 10 years, when they were routed 5-1 by Newcastle United.

Tottenham’s six final day wins in the last decade have been against: Sheffield United (23-24), Leeds (22-23), Norwich (21-22), Leicester (20-21 and 17-18) and Hull City (16-17) respectively.
What has Everton’s away record been like this season?
With still a slim chance of European football up for grabs, Everton aren’t coming to N17 with nothing to play for.
Even so, every team wants to end the season on a high and taking that winning feeling into the summer, so the Toffees will be in no mood to roll over for Spurs.
Hill Dickinson Stadium was expected to be where they picked up the majority of their points this term, but that hasn’t been the case for them.

They’ve collected 26 points on their travels this year compared to 23 at home, with seven wins, five draws and six defeats away from home.
However, they have only scored 21 goals on the road in 2025-26 compared to 26 on home soil, but have in turn shipped just 22 goals in away matches with 27 at home respectively.
Moyes-led sides are always honest and tough to play against, so Tottenham will need to be at their best if they wish to get the point they crave, but there are certainly signs that a result is on the cards.
