View: Pedro Porro backs ‘really working’ claim with 91% masterclass in Tottenham win v Sheffield United
Tottenham looked like they were heading for their first defeat of the new Premier League campaign in their clash with Sheffield United on Saturday (16 September).
The Blades were flying high in the dying stages at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium having taken the lead through Gustavo Hamer in the 73rd minute.
But a stunning turnaround from the hosts, led by substitute Richarlison, resulted in a 2-1 victory for Ange Postecoglou’s side.

With a goal and assist despite coming on in the 80th minute, the Brazil attacker has rightfully stolen all of the headlines.
But playing a key role at the other end of the pitch was right-back Pedro Porro, who produced a top display in several areas against the Blades.
As per SofaScore, the 24-year-old completed 91% of his 56 passes, as well as winning four of his five ground duels and making two tackles.
Four of his passes were key, while the defender also completed his one attempted dribble throughout his time on the pitch.

The right-back has certainly had his critics this season, but his confidence has not faltered, as he explained before the win against Sheffield United.
“It’s a system that I’m really suited to and it’s really working well for me,” Porro told Sky Sports (16 September). “I’m feeling really happy out there and I think you can see that when I’m playing.”
Having been substituted in the 95th minute, Porro wasn’t even on the pitch for his side’s dramatic pair of goals, but he will be thrilled nonetheless at Tottenham keeping their unbeaten run going.
Having drawn with Brentford in their Premier League opener, the North London club have now won four matches on the bounce in the competition.
