Jamie O’Hara launches ‘unbelievable’ Tottenham rant as Conor Gallagher rightly slammed
Conor Gallagher has been slammed by Jamie O’Hara for his woeful display in Tottenham’s 3-1 loss to Crystal Palace on Thursday.
The 25-year-old joined Tottenham for a fee of £34million from Atletico Madrid in the winter transfer window.
Although Gallagher has an abundance of experience at a high level, he has failed to hit the ground running under both Thomas Frank and Igor Tudor.
After being named on the bench at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Thursday, he came on after Micky van de Ven’s first-half red card, and it’s safe to say that Jamie O’Hara was furious with his performance.

Jamie O’Hara rips into Conor Gallagher
The Sofascore graphic above shows just how ineffective Gallagher was after coming on the pitch in the 43rd minute, and he is still yet to experience a win in a Tottenham shirt.
He was just one of his three duels and was unsuccessful with both crosses, while failing to complete his only dribble attempt.
Speaking on talkSPORT after the match, O’Hara didn’t hold back on his assessment of the players, with Gallagher bearing the brunt of his frustration.
He said: “The players are terrible. They’re Championship players.

“How did Gallagher play for Atletico Madrid? He’s on £200,000 a week, and he’s awful. It’s unbelievable. We’re a mockery of a football club.”
According to Sofascore, the 26-year-old has registered a pass accuracy of 81.3 per cent since arriving in N17, which is incredibly poor for a midfielder of his quality.
He may have his sights set on getting back into the England squad ahead of the 2026 World Cup, but he needs to step up his performances drastically if he is to have a fighting chance.
Although the midfielder has an abundance of energy, it’s clear that he lacks quality, and he certainly isn’t living up to expectations.
Gallagher has shown no fighting spirit since joining Tottenham
Despite his restrictions on the ball, fans were at least expecting him to put up a fight in the centre of the park.
However, as shown when he was dropped for the Palace match, that clearly isn’t the case.

Gallagher has won just 44.9 per cent of his ground duels and 16.7 per cent of his aerial duels, which is frankly shocking.
Having blocked just one shot and made only four clearances, he typifies everything that is wrong about Spurs at the moment.
And while O’Hara may have been harsh in the moment, he certainly raises some valid points around Spurs’ decision to sign him in January.
