Tottenham goalkeeper signs new contract as official announcement made
Robert Vilahamn has been handed a big boost after one of his goalkeepers signed a new contract with Tottenham Women.
It has been a difficult second season in charge for Vilahamn.
Spurs are currently ninth in the Barclays Women’s Super League and without a win in seven matches. The North London side’s last outing did see them end a five-match losing streak as they drew 1-1 with Leicester City at the King Power Stadium on Sunday, 30 March, ahead of the international break.
However, Vilahamn and his players will be desperate to get back to winning ways, and some Spurs stars have demonstrated this on international duty.
Meanwhile, back at Hotspur Way, Vilahamn has been handed a big boost after a contract announcement.

Eleanor Heeps signs new contract with Tottenham Women
Despite a lot of difficulty this season, there have been some positives for Tottenham, particularly the emergence of goalkeeper Heeps.
The 21-year-old made her debut for Spurs this season and put in some top displays before she was replaced in the team by Lize Kop, who arrived in North London during the winter transfer window.
However, this hasn’t stopped Heeps from putting pen to paper on a new deal with Tottenham.
As announced via the Lilywhites’ official channels on Tuesday (15 April), the shot-stoppper has signed a new contract which will run until 2028.
And Heeps will no doubt be keen to establish herself as the number one choice next season.
Vilahamn needs to offer Heeps chances at Tottenham
The immediate focus for Vilahamn and his players will be finishing the season as strongly as possible and climbing up the WSL table.
Barclays Women’s Super League | Position | Points |
Everton Women | 8th | 19 |
Tottenham Women | 9th | 18 |
Leicester City Women | 10th | 16 |
However, when it comes to next season, Vilahamn must ensure he gives Heeps chances to keep her happy, as Tottenham have a very talented goalkeeper on their hands, and she deserves a chance to show this.
