Robert Vilahamn boosted as Jessica Naz signs new long-term deal with Tottenham Women

Jessica Naz has earned her new contract with Tottenham Hotspur Women.

It was an exciting first season in charge of Spurs for Robert Vilahamn.

In what was his first experience of English football, the Swede guided his side to an Adobe Women’s FA Cup final as well as a sixth-place finish in the Barclays Women’s Super League.

And things are already looking promising ahead of next season after Naz put pen to paper on a new deal in North London.

As per the Tottenham Hotspur Official Website (24 May), the forward has signed a contract which will run until 2027.

Naz featured in every one of the club’s league matches this season, starting ten times, and scored seven goals in all competitions.

She made a big impact in the final match of the season, a 3-1 home win against West Ham Women (18 May).

Coming off the bench in the 57th minute with the score tied 1-1, Naz would go on to score in the 86th minute before setting Drew Spence up in the dying moments of stoppage time.

As per Sofascore, the 23-year-old had two shots on target, completed one successful dribble and completed 73 per cent of her passes.

In addition, she made one key pass and won one ground duel.

Naz will be keen to build on her impressive form next season after signing her new contract.
