Beth England continues her timely return to form after what she did for Tottenham v Brighton
Beth England looks to be returning to form at the perfect time for Tottenham Women.
It hasn’t been a season to remember for the striker.
After finishing as Spurs’ top scorer last season, England spent the first part of the current campaign on the sidelines nursing an injury.
Following her return to action in December, the 29-year-old scored just twice in her first 12 games, with both goals coming in the same match.
However, England has looked much more like herself as of late, with her return to form arriving at the ideal time for Robert Vilahamn and the club.
Beth England finding her shooting boots once again for Tottenham Women
Spurs played out a 1-1 draw with Brighton Women at Brisbane Road on Sunday (28 April).
Having found the back of the net three times in her previous five matches, England made it four in six as she got on the scoresheet against the Seagulls.
In addition, the Spurs captain also hit the woodwork, had a further two shots on target and played two key passes (Sofascore).

It has been a much better few weeks for England, and her return to form couldn’t have come at a better time.
Spurs will take on Manchester United Women in the Adobe Women’s FA Cup final on Sunday 12 May, and if the North London side are to have any chance of lifting that trophy, they will need their star striker at her best.
