UEFA ‘should be ashamed’ as Son footage emerges after Tottenham win v Man United
Tottenham finally delivered their supporters a trophy after defeating Man United 1-0 in the Europa League final.
A first-half Brennan Johnson goal secured the victory, with Luke Shaw’s arm helping the ball on its way.
Spurs supporters were jubilant as Ange Postecoglou delivered the Lilywhites a first trophy in 17 years.
However, the mood dampened slightly after the match in a flashpoint involving Son Heung-Min and UEFA.

Son Heung-min misses out amid UEFA error
The noise inside the San Mames Stadium was deafening as Spurs supporters showed their appreciation towards their team.
In truth, the final produced little quality, but that will matter little to the North London club.
The win was the Lilywhites’ first in a final since they defeated Chelsea in the League Cup final back in 2008.
Son Heung-min had to settle for a place on the bench, but the South Korean international came on as a second-half substitute.
While there was not much attacking to be done, he still put in a meaningful shift as Spurs found a way to win.

However, after the victory, there was a mix-up during the medal ceremony as UEFA did not provide enough medals for the Tottenham players.
That meant that Son and Romero did not initially receive one, although the winger was pictured wearing one in a later interview, perhaps having been given one by a team-mate.
UEFA clearly overlooked how many Tottenham players would need a medal, and for that they should hang their heads in shame.
Son on limited time at Tottenham
There is no doubt that Son has etched himself in Tottenham’s history as a club legend.
After almost a decade with the North London club, he has been a phenomenal performer and has now topped it off with a trophy.
However, the 32-year-old has shown signs of decline this season and looks a shadow of his former self.
Significantly, the winger is about to enter the final year of his lucrative contract, meaning decisions on his future are on the horizon.
Will Spurs want to fork out on a player whose best years are behind him? Will Son be tempted by pastures new?
These are questions that are likely to pop up over the summer if the South Korean does not sign a new deal.
Whatever happens, Son has been a magnificent servant to Tottenham and has every right to celebrate.
