Tottenham can ‘continue spending spree with Crystal Palace ace’ after exit revelation

Tottenham have had a whirlwind few days in the transfer market, and more signings could still follow.

Mohammed Kudus has joined from West Ham in a big-money deal, and Morgan Gibbs-White could also join him in North London.

After years of limited spending, Tottenham have opened the chequebook in an ambitious turn of events as they aim to strengthen their squad.

While Thomas Frank has focused on attacking signings so far, Spurs could continue their incredible window by targeting one wantaway Crystal Palace star.

Daniel Munoz makes Crystal Palace exit admission

Crystal Palace star Daniel Munoz has established himself as one of the best attacking right-backs in the Premier League, and he could now be on the move this summer.

Munoz was outstanding as Crystal Palace won the FA Cup, but with Palace’s qualification for the Europa League now in doubt, he has admitted that he could leave this summer.

Speaking to Win Sports TV in Colombia, the 29-year-old claimed that he would love to join a bigger club this summer if possible.

Munoz has been excellent for Crystal Palace

“I want to play for the best teams in the world, but they haven’t spoken to me directly. I dream and work every day to achieve it, and I hope it can happen as soon as possible. I hope it’s in this window, but if not, I’m very happy at Crystal Palace,” he stated.

Tottenham could now make a very ambitious move to sign him, which would suit both the club and the player.

Munoz and Tottenham could be a perfect match

With Tottenham in the Champions League, they could have the lure to convince Munoz to join, and given his age, this may be his last chance to get a move to a club competing among Europe’s best.

Spurs could offer him this opportunity, and could make him a starter ahead of Pedro Porro as a Premier League-proven upgrade.

If Frank elects to use a back three, then Munoz could be the perfect addition on the right to help support attacks with his overlapping speed.

It would also be a big statement of ambition from Daniel Levy if a ‘win-now’ player was to follow the other big money signings in as Spurs rebuild their squad.
