Harry Kane return: Tottenham can now seal dream transfer after reveal

Tottenham can seal a dream return for Harry Kane after a new transfer reveal.

The 31-year-old rose from the youth academy to become arguably Spurs’ greatest-ever player, scoring 280 goals in 435 appearances.

The academy graduate left the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in August 2023 to join Bayern Munich in a sensational £100 million move.

It was revealed on 5 February that the England international has a £54m release clause in his contract with the Bavarians that becomes active in summer 2026 via Christian Falk.

Tottenham can seal dream Kane return

Lilywhites supporters were devastated when their star man left to join the German giants.

Ange Postecoglou’s side have struggled to replace his output but Kane has continued to be ruthless in front of goal, notching 19 goals in 18 Bundesliga appearances this season.

The Australian would love to have the England star back in his squad and surely his side would not be 14th in the Premier League if they did.

A return to Spurs could tempt Kane, he currently has 213 top-flight goals, just 47 behind Alan Shearer’s all-time record.

He will be just a month away from turning 33 when the clause comes into effect, so the move would be a risk for the club.

However, a return would certainly bring the feelgood factor back to North London and there is a sense of unfinished business given that he is so close to the record and the lack of trophies in his original stint.
